Silence your inner critic

Do you ever hear that voice in your head asking you, hey, what the heck are you doing?

That inner critic can be brutal, your brain gives you great ideas and motivation and then wham, the inner critic stops you.

We all have that inner critic and in today's video I talk about how to silence it and how to give your self confidence a boost.

Let me know what you do to silence your inner critic, I look forward to seeing your comments.

This is great, thank you for taking the time to share and post. I’ve recently started following you and Mark P. to learn as much as I can about raw land investing so I can begin the journey out of solo economic dependency. The inner critic is REAL and especially brutal when partnered with external nay-sayer comments. I’ve found that my most successful way to work through it is to break the “big idea” into smaller chunks and move through each in way that I create little “wins” as I go, creating a system of positive progress. I’m also working to surround myself with people who are supportive of outside-the-box thinking and find mentor(s) who have found success before me. It makes taking the leap feel a little bit more secure, like having a parachute on.

    Intrigued about Project Blue!

What works for me is to constantly “brainwash” myself with positivity and fixate on who I want to be, how that guy behaves, how he carries himself, etc.

Afformations by Noah St John helps a lot with this.

Great videos, keep em coming 👍

Needed this video! So tough to power through the self doubt – sometimes I feel like the self doubt is the loudest voice at the table! For me, taking a step back from everything, talking with my wife and going for a hike (just being in nature) – usually helps clear my head of all the anxieties and helps me get back on track! Thanks so much for all you do!

Whenever I’m not sure what I should do. I just think about what I’d do on a mountain bike. Take risks and SEND it!

Excellent thought Scott – just take the next step! After all, in a year, you’ll still be a year older….why not be closer to your goals when that year has passed!

Excellent video. I love your videos. I have stage 4 cancer and I have less than a year to live. Land investing isn’t something that I feel I can’t do rather I feel like it’s something I should have been doing much earlier. I have enough that my family will be fine, but I want to leave them something better like my parent will. I have an incredible drive to success, but some days I just don’t have the energy.
