Land Investing 101—Dealing With The Customer

In today’s episode of The Art of Passive Income—Round Table edition, Mark is joined by:

  • Tate Litchfield
  • Erik Peterson
  • David Banales
  • Mike Zaino
  • Scott Todd

Jeff Akstin also drops in — over Mike Zaino’s shoulder at the firehouse! Jeff is one of Mark’s first students and he also mentored Mike. Mark refers to the two as the Matt Damon and Ben Affleck of the group.

The two get a call and don’t stay long, but before he goes, Jeff shares a recent deal that can bring in 10x!

This week’s topics:

  • Doing business in person—This can be difficult when there are miles in between you and the buyer. The guys go over what they do in this situation, their experiences, and building trust to get the deal done online.
  • Tire kickers—Erik shares a situation he is in, where a potential buyer who has been around for over a year periodically inquires about properties but then comes up with excuses why he can’t buy. What do you do in this situation—how do you convert those tire kickers into buyers, or should you just let them go? Everyone weighs in.
  • Rude buyers—How do you handle them so you don’t get a bad review? Do we hug our haters, or send them to David?

Plus, you don’t want to miss Erik’s mic-drop tip of the week. And, does Mark finally win him over to #TeamMark?

Listen in now to find out!

Mark: Read, Hug Your Haters by Jay Baer. Also, check out It’s a how-to website.

Isn’t it time to create passive income so you can work where you want, when you want and with whomever you want?
